Founding Members

VincyCares, Inc. was founded by Dahlia-Ann Howard-Lewis and Kenley “Shortmus” John, in response to a need to help the less fortunate children of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, governed by a Board of Directors, as required by NY State and US Federal Law.

The Board of Directors is responsible for making decisions in the best interest of the organization, ensuring prudent use of all assets, providing oversight for all activities that advance the organization’s effectiveness and sustainability, obeying applicable laws and ethical practices, adhering to the organization’s stated purpose, and ensuring that activities advance the organization’s mission.
